How to Get Rich Quick in Cataclysm
Recently several websites mentioned things that are easy moneymakers when Cataclysm hits. The Hunter's Arsenal has listed the basics for making gold.
http://thehuntersarsenal.blogspot.com/2010/11/zuggaming-blogging-carnival-making-gold.html
Acadia's Gold has tips for making cash as a low level character using faction items. Here's the Horde tip.
http://acadiasgold.blogspot.com/2010/11/nothing-lesser-about-it.html
And here is the Alliance one.

Many thanks to the Pot for pointing out the last two items.

Pet News from Cataclysm UPDATED
In the latest Cataclysm build, pets can become crit immune by using the Grace of Mantis talent. The article also has info on the new worm Burrow and pet bugs.
http://www.warcrafthuntersunion.com/2010/10/pets-can-become-crit-immune-in-lastest-beta-build/
Mania's Arcania has a way of taming the Oily Coat Wolf so that it doesn't lose its color open taming. Looks like this works for Alliance only, or at least only for Horde with plenty of Alliance friends to help. It also may be removed by Blizzard at any time and you can't take the wolf to Arena without losing the coloring.

Looks like eight of the nine parrots available in Cataclysm will be tamable.

Arathi Basin Bug Gives Alliance Unfair Advantage
Apparently there is a bug in the Arathi Basin that allows Alliance players to capture bases before the game starts. The Horde can't use the bug so this exploit gives Alliance teams an unfair advantage. Hopefully Blizzard will fix the problem soon.

Blizzard Balances Wintergrasp
WOW Insider links to Blizzard's statement on how they plan to fix Wintergrasp on realms where there are way more Alliance (or Horde) players than the opposing side.

Whose Side Are You On, Boys? Whose Side Are You On?
The Solo MMO Player was traveling to a shared Alliance/Horde city today, playing as his Tauren druid, when a Level 55 Blood Elf started tagging along.
The Blood Elf made chicken noises, laughed at the Solo MMO's huge cow druid, brushed up against him and farted, etc. during the entire ten minute trip. The Solo MMO Player said and did nothing as befits a stoic bovine druid. He and the taunting Blood Elf arrived in the destination city and an Alliance player promptly shot two arrows at the Blood Elf and killed him.
The Solo MMO Player resurrected the Blood Elf who said, "Oh. I thought you were Alliance. Sorry." Then he skipped off to make chicken noises somewhere else.
Once the Solo MMO Player stopped laughing, I asked him to look up the Level 55 Blood Elf and see if he belongs to a guild. He does. It's fairly small but it does have three Tauren players, including the guild master who is a Tauren druid....
Any wonder longtime players are quitting in droves when mid-level characters can't tell who belongs to their faction? If you hang around, you will kill yourself falling out of your chair laughing.
