Rift: Screenshots, Twitter and Facebook

To take screenshots using a Windows7 machine, use Print Screen. You may have to hold down the control key while pushing Print Screen.  A lot depends on your keyboard brand.

If you don't have a print screen key, go into Keybindings and change the Screenshot key to one of the Function keys or something else you never use in-game.

If you want to remove the UI bars first, press Control plus U to hide the interface.  Pushing Control plus U twice removes guild tags and names.  Pushing Control Plus U the third time puts the UI bars back.

Screenshots are files in the RiftGame/screenshots folder wherever your game is installed (probably in C:/Program Files/RiftGame/screenshots).

Apparently the command /tweetpic will put a photo into your Twitter account.

This is how you push info to Facebook.

WOW Memory Book UPDATED AGAIN

Two screenshot projects underway online that document the World of Warcraft's environments seem even more important now that we now the Cataclysm expansion will destroy this world forever. My favorite is Postcards from Azeroth which carefully composes images and posts them periodically.
But the Wallpaper Project run by Too Many Annas probably has larger and more typical images.
UPDATE: WOW Insider pointed me towards WOW Screenshots which is also collecting larger images from inside the game and allows you to upload your own. The Next button's on the far right to switch to the next page of images.

UPDATE #2:  The Hunters Mark is also preserving screenshots of the scenery.

Enjoy the scenery while you can.
By the way, this site is under development.
