Der Hexenmeister pointed me towards this article about "draining tanking" which is a technique affliction warlocks use to kill mobs without taking much damage themselves. The article discusses using this at a lower level and then how it changes when you are a high level affliction warlock and even mentions a useful macro. Then the author introduces Goddess of Death Mode....
